Pairing steps
- Install the official Wallpaper Engine Android companion app.
- Open the Mobile section in Wallpaper Engine on Windows.
- Keep both devices on the same local network.
- Enter or confirm the pairing code.
- Choose a compatible wallpaper and send it to the phone.
What Android does
The Android app is a companion, not a standalone copy of the Windows editor or Steam Workshop browser.
Connection tips
Disable VPN isolation temporarily, allow local-network access, and ensure the router does not isolate wireless clients.
